Summer Tour 2017:
Am 12. September 2016 kündigte Bruce Springsteen die „Summer Tour 2017“ mit Shows in Australien und Neuseeland an.
Die E Street Band bestritt zwischen dem 22. Januar 2017 und dem 25. Februar 2017 insgesamt 14 Konzerte in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Mount Macedon, Brisbane, Hunter Valley, Christchurch und Auckland.

Am 13. Januar 2017 kam Jake Clemons erster Longplayer „Fear & Love“ in den Handel. Die Songs wurden von Ryan Swinehart co-produziert und von L Stu Young (Prince) und Geoff Sanoff (Bruce Springsteen, Lloyd Cole, Darlene Love, Sarah Brightman) unter anderem in Steven Van Zandts „Renegade Studio“ in New York City eingespielt. Für Mai 2017 ist eine Tour geplant.

Bruce Springsteen wird im Laufe des Jahres ein Soloalbum veröffentlichen. Patti Scialfa postete im Juli 2014 ein kurzes Video auf Instagram und schrieb, dass Bruce etliche mexikanische Streicher in seinem Studio zu Gast hatte, um „The Lost Charro“ einzuspielen.
In einem Gespräch mit David Fricke (Rolling Stone Magazin) im Februar 2016 bestätigte der „Boss“, dass er bereits seit vier Jahren mit einem Soloprojekt beschäftigt ist.

Im Sommer 2016 meldete sich Jon Landau zu Wort und kündigte im Rolling Stone Magazin ein brandneues Bruce Springsteen Solowerk für 2017 an.
Next up for Springsteen is a solo album, which Landau calls “a very different kind of record” from Springsteen … “It’s a wonderful record, and we’ll see how the next year unfolds … All I can say is that there is a solo record — and when I say solo record, I’m not talking about an acoustic record” / Quelle
Das neue Werk soll Mitte 2017 in den Handel kommen. Gerüchten zufolge soll das country- und folklastige Werk von Ron Aniello produziert werden und von den Singer/Songwritern Glen Campbell und Jimmy Webb beeinflusst sein.
