Cortona Mix Festival 2014: Cortona All Stars feat. Max Weinberg & Roy Bittan
Die toskanische Gemeinde Cortona zählt 23.000 Einwohner und ist seit 3 Jahren Austragungsort des „Cortona Mix Festivals“. Jedes Jahr im Juli und August finden in der Kleinstadt in der Provinz von Arezzo Kinoabende, Vernissagen, Theateraufführungen und Konzerte statt.
Am Abend des 1. August 2014 traten die beiden E Street Band Musiker Max Weinberg und Roy Bittan mit den „Cortona All Stars“ auf.

Max Weinberg – Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band longtime drummer and honorary citizen of Cortona – returns to the Etruscan city after having fired up Cortona Mix Festival audiences in 2013 with a spectacular rock’n’roll jam session with young, local musicians. Defined by the New York Times as „…the heartbeat of The E Street Band“, this year he’s back with a concert of his new music, accompanied by a group of local artists and an extraordinary guest musician, equally well known to Springsteen fans: Roy “The Professor” Bittan of the E Street Band, who will present the world premiere of his new instrumental compositions. A one night concert featuring a terrific repertoire.
