Am 29. Oktober 2016 wird Steven van Zandt mit seiner Band „Disciples of Soul“ eine Show im Londoner „indigo2 at The O2“ bestreiten (wir berichteten bereits hier).
Das Konzert findet im Rahmen des Londoner „BluesFest 2016“ statt.
BluesFest Veranstalter Leo Green sagte:
„We feel honoured to have been able to add Little Steven & The Disciples Of Soul to the BluesFest line-up this year. This will be Steve Van Zandt’s first headline show in the UK for more than 25 years and promises to be another of those very special BluesFest nights.„

Little Steven To Play First UK Headline Show Since 1990
Longtime Bruce Springsteen collaborator and star of The Sopranos Steven Van Zandt to perform first London show for over 25 years at BluesFest 2016.
American musician, record producer and actor Steven Van Zandt, AKA Little Steven, is the final act confirmed for this year’s BluesFest, which takes place at The O2 in London from October 28th – 30th. Van Zandt brings his band Little Steven & The Disciples Of Soul to indigo at The O2 on Saturday October 29th.
A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Van Zandt co-founded Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and is perhaps best known as a longstanding member of Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band but also gained worldwide notoriety playing Silvio Dante in the award-winning HBO series The Sopranos. He joins a long list of illustrious artists already lined-up for this year’s festival including Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Bill Wyman, Bad Company, Walter Trout, The Temperance Movement, Richie Sambora, Mary J Blige and Maxwell.BluesFest Director Leo Green:
