Bruce Springsteen spielte im „Palace of Auburn Hills“, Detroit, MI die bisher längste Show der „Wrecking Ball Tour 2012“. Der 62jährige stand mit seinen Musikkollegen insgesamt 191 Minuten auf der Bühne und brachte mit „Youngstown“ und „Incident on 57th Street“ zwei Tourpremieren. Ausserdem sang er mit Michelle Moore den Song „Rocky Ground“.

The classic „Incident on 57th Street“ was played for the first time on the Wrecking Ball tour as well as „Youngstown.“
It was a 26-song, 3:11 show to start a leg where Bruce plays four shows over six nights. Time wise, it was the longest show of the tour. Patti Scialfa was not there, the first time she has missed a show on the Wrecking Ball tour. One tweet from the show said Bruce remarked: Patti is home „making sure the kids stick to their own drug stash.“ Bruce also said he knew he was in Detroit tonight.
